“The harvest must not go unreaped because reapers are fighting and quarreling over their own flock. Christ did not die to give people are career bot to save the lost” (R. Bonnke). This is a very critical point, because the harvesters are sometimes too worried about what others are saying about them. We know from scripture, especially the book of Acts that some will receive, but there are those who will reject the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ. We must be ready to step out boldly, in the strength of the Holy Ghost, knowing that it is He who is working through us to share the message that He has placed in our hearts.
That message is not going to get you into the IN crowd. People are going to reject you, just like they did Jeremiah, just like they rejected Jonah. But, there will be those who receive the message the Spirit is working through you and they will receive the free gift of salvation. What message am I talking about? I am not talking only about the message of speaking the Gospel, but I am mostly talking about LIVING the Gospel. We are called to be Holy, for He is Holy. We are commanded to love, and Christ loved US. Christ died for us.
Are we prepared to do the same. Are we even prepared to let go of pride, arrogance, and vanity and step out without fear and trust that He will place the words on our lips at the moment we are required to speak? What about the lives that we live? Yes, I am talking about the lives that we live in public, because it is that life that we live in public that other see. They must be able to see Jesus in you. If you are just talking about him, but cursing and watching all kinds of filth on TV, “Oh, I gots to git home and watch me show. Oh, did you see those real housewives or did you watch HUNG last night?” And then you want to turn around and try to be holy in the next second. NOT. WRONG. You better think about what you are doing, you better thing about what you are saying….
YOU BETTER RECOGNIZE THAT WHAT YOUA RE DOING IN PRIVATE THE REAL YOU, and the real you is what comes out in public… You better check yourself, before you wreck yourself and give the wrong impression because the next person you come in contact with may need to hear the gospel message and the only way they may see or hear it is by something you do or something you say that you aren’t even saying to that person; they just overhear you… because that person may leave from your presence and their time on this earth may end. I am not preaching to you. I am preaching to ME, TOO.
Let us let the love of Christ radiate from us in our words and our actions. Learn to LOVE the other person no matter what is going on in that person’s life. Love allows the other person to forget about themselves and opens the door for the Holy Spirit to do what He needs to do to convince and convict to salvation.
We must be a witness to those who are lost. BUT, MOST IMPORTANTLY, WE MUST LOVE THOSE WHO ARE TRULY TRYING TO WORK OUT THEIR OWN SALVATION WITH THE LORD. For example, let’s say there is a person that God’s has placed in your life that is a drug addict or drug dealer or may have some kind of sexually immoral lifestyle they are living, but they have received the Lord Jesus as the master of their lives, it is up to you to no longer preach to that person, but to LOVE that person. Yes, if they stumble, you love them and lift them up and dust them off and pray with them, always praying with them.
But, if they are really trying and REALLY REPENTING, TURNING FROM THE OLD WAY, then it is our jobs as Saint’s of God to LOVE them and teach them in ways of the LORD. We are not to discuss their past with them, or try to understand their past. That is none of our business unless the Holy Spirit leads that person to share with us. It is our job to simply love them….
When we simply love them, then we are removing the condemnation that this world can place on them and keeps them bound in the past. Love removes all of that. It ushers in acceptance, and we a person who has lived a terrible life has been accepted by the real Saint’s of God, without condemnation, then that person can then begin to move into the realm of the Spirit that will lead them to experience the presence and power of God and experience TRUE AND REAL DELIVERANCE.
I know. I am one of those who has been loved by the right kind of Saints who has the right kind of heart and who has made an effort to love me regardless of my past sins. NO, I don’t live in those past sins any longer. And a real Saint of God would not condone such a lifestyle in me, but they can love me if I am making the effort to be as obedient to the Word of the Lord as I can be. In that, comes true deliverance. In that, comes perfect love. In that, is pure religion.
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and anyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He that does not love, does not know God, for God is LOVE.” 1 John 4:7-8
